Blanche is a Belgian singer-songwriter who rose to fame after representing Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with “City Lights”, placing fourth and topping charts in both Flanders and Wallonia. Before Eurovision, she competed on season five of The Voice Belgique as part of Team Cats on Trees. “City Lights” went on to achieve double platinum status in Belgium and charted widely across Europe, establishing her as one of the country’s most successful new artists. In the years that followed, Blanche released a run of singles, including “Wrong Turn”, “Soon”, and “Moment”, the latter becoming her strongest local chart success since Eurovision. She released her debut album “Empire” in 2020, and continued contributing to film soundtracks, including for the 2023 movie “Het Smelt”.
