Damien Rice is an Irish singer-songwriter who began his career with the band Juniper before leaving to pursue a solo path. His debut solo album “O”, released in 2002, reached No. 8 on the UK Albums Chart, won the Shortlist Music Prize and produced multiple UK top-30 singles. After busking and working in Italy following his departure from Juniper, Rice recorded “O” with collaborators including Lisa Hannigan and toured extensively. He followed with the album “9”, released in 2006, and later “My Favourite Faded Fantasy”, released in 2014, while contributing to various charitable music projects along the years.
