Donkeyboy
Donkeyboy
Norway
Donkeyboy is a popband from Norway, founded in 2005, consisting of the brothers Cato Sundberg and Kent Sundberg, alongside Peter Michelsen and Thomas Drabløs. Their music blends elements of pop and rock, with inspiration drawn from artists such as Pet Shop Boys, Tom Petty, and Fleetwood Mac. Their debut single, "Ambitions," released in 2009, dominated the Norwegian charts for 12 consecutive weeks and was later succeeded by their second single, "Sometimes," marking the first time a Norwegian artist replaced themselves at the number one spot. Both tracks were featured on their debut album called "Caught in a Life", which achieved triple platinum status in Norway. In 2012, their fame continued to grow, and with good reason.
