GuGabriel is an Austrian singer-songwriter and musician, known for her heartfelt pop, folk, and rock songs. Her music invites listeners into her world, sharing stories of life, love, and personal reflection with honesty and poetic sensitivity. GuGabriel first gained recognition as the lead singer of the Austrian pop-rock band She Says, which topped charts in 2006 and earned her an Amadeus Award. She toured with artists such as Bryan Adams and Uriah Heep, and opened for Seal. Over the years, she has collaborated in the studio and live with influential figures like Lee 'Scratch' Perry, punk icon Ari Up, and the internationally acclaimed Viennese dub-reggae band Dubblestandart. In 2012, GuGabriel returned to the charts with her self-produced single “Salvation”. She founded her own label and launched "Pure Water" in 2018, together with Paul Zasky from Dubblestandart. In 2019, she completed her first film score for a documentary on restoring Europe’s rivers to drinking-quality standards. With her own studio, a distinctive voice, and a commitment to meaningful art, GuGabriel stands out as an exceptional artist from the heart of Europe.
