Helena Paparizou is a Swedish-Greek singer and songwriter who first rose to fame as part of the duo Antique, formed in 1999, with whom she released five albums and represented Greece at Eurovision 2001. After the group disbanded in 2003, she began a solo career with her debut album “Protereotita”, released in 2004, blending laïko, pop and dance influences. In 2005 she represented Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “My Number One”, giving the country its first victory and earning major international recognition. She continued her success with the albums “Iparhi Logos”, “The Game of Love”, and “Vrisko To Logo Na Zo”, all of which achieved strong chart results and multiple platinum certifications. Over the 2010s and 2020s she released additional albums and appeared in television roles including The Voice of Greece.
