Hemp Gru is a Polish hip-hop group founded in Warsaw in 1998 by rappers Wilku and Bilon, joined by DJ Steez and hypeman Żary. The group collaborated widely across the Polish rap scene, including with artists such as WWO, Sokół, and ZIP Skład. Hemp Gru released their debut album “Klucz” in 2004, followed by the four albums, later adding the releases “Braterstwo” and “Eter,” the latter marking their return after a six-year hiatus. Their work was closely tied to the Diil Gang collective, one of the key networks in Warsaw’s hip-hop community.
