Ilona Mitrecey is a French singer born in Fontenay-aux-Roses. She became known due to her high-energy Eurodance hit “Un Monde parfait”, released in 2005 after circulating in Italy the year before, reaching number one on the French charts for fifteen weeks. She followed its success with the single “C’est les vacances”, and her debut album “Un Monde parfait”, both released in 2005. After stepping back from music in 2007 to pursue cinema studies between France and New York City, she returned in 2021 with the single “Magical World”. Her early songs became cultural classics of mid-2000s French pop and remain widely recognized.
