Kodaline is an Irish alternative rock band from Dublin, formed in 2005 by Steve Garrigan, Mark Prendergast, Vinny May Jr. and Jason Boland. The group originallt performed under the name 21 Demands and rebranded as Kodaline in 2011. Today, the band is known for their soaring, radio-friendly guitar rock and emotional ballads, often compared to Coldplay, Keane and U2.
Kodaline achieved international recognition with their debut EP, "The Kodaline EP", released in 2012, and the single "All I Want," which gained widespread exposure through television and radio. Their first album, "In a Perfect World", was a major success in Ireland and the United Kingdom, and the band has since performed at major festivals such as Pinkpop and Lowlands. With their distinctive blend of powerful melodies and heartfelt lyrics, they have established themselves as one of Ireland's most notable contemporary rock acts.
