Las Ketchup
Las Ketchup
Spain
Las Ketchup is a Spanish pop group composed of sisters Lucía, Lola, Pilar, and later Rocío Muñoz. Daughters of flamenco musician El Tomate, they gained global fame in 2002 with “The Ketchup Song (Aserejé)”, a flamenco-pop hit. Their debut album “Hijas del Tomate” surpassed two million sales, the group going on to represent Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest with “Un Blodymary” in 2006. Though they have not released new music since, their continued popularity to this day has made “The Ketchup Song” a cultural classic of early-2000s pop.
