Namika is a German-Moroccan singer and rapper from Frankfurt. She gained national recognition with her 2015 debut album “Nador”, which included the number-one single “Lieblingsmensch”. She later competed in the Bundesvision Song Contest, joined the jury of the Eurovision Song Contest for Germany, and released further hits such as “Je ne parle pas français”, whose remix topped the German charts. Her second album “Que Walou” expanded her profile with singles including “Ahmed”, “Ich will dich vermissen”, and “Zirkus”. Namika has since continued releasing new music and appearing in major national projects, including MTV Unplugged and collaborations with artists like Zaz and Pajel.
