The Swedish Malin Dahlström and Gustaf Karlöf formed an indie electronic band called Niki & The Dove. Since their formation in 2010, they have combined a deep love and respect for music with a drive to try new things and mix different music styles, making their sound both accessible and adventurous. Their collaboration began in Gothenburg, where they previously played together in various bands before releasing their debut single "DJ, Ease My Mind". The following album "Instinct", released in 2011, collected selected tracks from earlier EPs and new songs and earned the duo a nomination for BBC Sound of 2012. Four years later, the album "Everybody’s Heart Is Broken Now", earned nominations at the Swedish Grammy Awards and they won the P3 Gold Award for "Pop Of The Year" in 2017.
