Redrama is a Finnish rapper who made his breakthrough in 2003 and performs primarily in English while also recording in Swedish and Finnish. He began with the Redrama EP in 2001, signed to Virgin UK and released his debut album “Everyday Soundtrack” in 2003, followed by “Street Music” two years later. Redrama was part of the multi-national group Alien Allies and won the English-language Finnish rapping championship in 2001, as well as the Finnish Grammy (Emma) for Best Hip Hop Album in 2005. After 2005, he toured with Gang Starr and released more work, including the 2009 album “The Getaway,” as well as various collaborations under his own label Non-Genre.
