Seinabo Say is a Swedish-Gambian singer and songwriter, known for her deep, honest and expressive voice. Born in Stockholm, she spent part of her childhood in Gambia, the birthplace of her father, known musician Maudo Sey. From a young age, she wrote her own songs and noticed that people fell silent when se sang. Her breaktrough came with the single "Younger", released in 2013, which reached international charts after Kygo remixed the hit. Her 2015 album "Pretend", confirmed her talent and shows how easily she can blend pop and soul. Sey has won several Swedish Grammy Awards and is known for her impressive live performances and her ability to blend emotions and diverse musical influences in her music.
