Sunrise Avenue were a Finnish rock band formed in Helsinki, evolving from an earlier project called Sunrise. After years of performing in small venues the group secured a deal and released their breakthrough debut album “On the Way to Wonderland” in 2006. Their single “Fairytale Gone Bad” became a major European hit, leading to extensive touring and appearances at major festivals. The band went on to release a string of successful albums including “Out of Style”, “Unholy Ground” and “Heartbreak Century”, earning platinum and gold certifications across several countries. Known for songs such as “Hollywood Hills,” “Forever Yours,” and “Welcome to My Life,” Sunrise Avenue remained active until concluding their final tour in 2022.
