The Baseballs
The Baseballs
Germany
In 2007, the german singers Sven Budja, Rüdiger Brans en Sebastian Raetzel formed a band called The Baseballs, together with the musicians Till Kersting, Klaas Wendling en Henry Grant. Their adventure began in 2009 with the album Strike!, on which they gave modern pop songs a 1950's rock ’n’ roll twist. With their first single, a cover of Rihanna's Umbrella, they reached the charts in several European countries. After releasing several more albums, including "Strings 'n' Stripes" in 2011, The Baseballs became known for their unique style. Their shows are famous for their energy and nostalgic atmosphere, and the audience can’t help but dance to the rocking beats of the ’50s and ’60s.
