The Fratellis are a Glasgow-based rock band formed in 2005, consisting of Jon Fratelli, Barry Fratelli, and Mince Fratelli. Their debut album “Costello Music,” released in 2006, reached number two on the UK Albums Chart, remained in the Top 100 for eighty-three weeks, and produced five singles including the UK Top 10 hits “Chelsea Dagger” and “Whistle for the Choir.” The album’s success earned the band the BRIT Award for Best British Breakthrough Act and more than one million sales in the UK. Their second album “Here We Stand,” released in 2008, followed extensive touring before the band entered a hiatus. The Fratellis reunited in 2013 and released “We Need Medicine,” later returning to the charts with “Eyes Wide, Tongue Tied,” “In Your Own Sweet Time,” and “Half Drunk Under a Full Moon,” all of which debuted in the top five in Scotland.
