The Script is an Irish pop rock band formed in Dublin in 2001 by Danny O’Donoghue and Mark Sheehan, later joined by Glen Power. After signing to Sony’s Phonogenic imprint, they released their debut album “The Script” in 2008, featuring the hit singles “We Cry,” “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved,” “Breakeven” and “Before the Worst.” The album topped the charts in Ireland and the UK and led to extensive touring, including performances with U2, Take That and Paul McCartney. They continued their success with major singles such as “For the First Time,” “Hall of Fame,” “Superheroes” and “The Last Time” across their next albums. Their music has appeared widely in film and television, and they have sold over 20 million albums worldwide.
