Vittorio Grigolo
Italy
Italian tenor Vittorio Grigolo is one of the most prominent operatic voices of his generation, known for his expressive lyricism and technically powerful stage presence. Born in Arezzo and raised in Rome, he began singing as a child, joining the Sistine Chapel Choir after being discovered at age nine. He trained at the Schola Puerorum and performed alongside Luciano Pavarotti in Tosca at age thirteen. Grigolo became the youngest male artist ever to perform at Milan’s La Scala at age twenty-three. Since then, he has taken leading roles across major opera houses, including the Royal Opera House. His repertoire includes Verdi, Puccini, Donizetti, Massenet, Gounod, and Mozart, and he has appeared at major events such as the first Concert de Paris in 2013.
