Walking on Cars
Ireland
Walking on Cars were an Irish rock band from Dingle whose lineup included Pa Sheehy, Sorcha Durham, Paul Flannery, and Evan Hadnett. After forming in 2010 and spending months writing in isolation on the Dingle Peninsula, they gained national attention with their debut single “Catch Me If You Can”, which topped Irish iTunes and spent over 20 weeks on the charts. They released two EPs before achieving international success with “Speeding Cars” and the number-one Irish album “Everything This Way”. Their second album “Colours” followed in 2019, and their single “Monster” was featured as the opening theme for the Netflix series The Stranger. The band split in 2020 alongside the release of their final EP, “Clouds”.
