Zedd is a Russian-German DJ and producer, known for his electrohouse and his own remarkable 'Zedd-style', with influences from progressive house, complextro, and dubstep. He began playing piano at the age of four and drums at twelve. His interest in electronic music was sparked after hearing † by the French duo Justice, and he started producing in 2009. Zedd gained international recognition after signing with Interscope in 2012 and releasing his single Clarity featuring Foxes, which earned him a 2014 GRAMMY® for “Best Dance Recording.” Since then, he has collaborated with major artists including Hayley Williams (Stay the Night), Selena Gomez (I Want You To Know), Ariana Grande (Break Free), Alessia Cara (Stay), and Maren Morris & Grey (The Middle), achieving multiple hits, number-one radio singles, and several GRAMMY® nominations. His music is characterized by energetic beats, catchy melodies, and genre-blending productions. Zedd has performed worldwide at major festivals such as Electric Daisy Carnival, Ultra Music Festival, Coachella, and Lollapalooza.
