Education Day 2025: meeting bookers, inclusive riders and much more
Each year, Education Programme is free for MME nominees to visit. And you're gonna want to! This year, it's filled with amazing opportunities to further along your career. Read along, as we unwrap this year's program for you.
Meet the bookers
First up: a speed date with European bookers. Bookers from Sziget, Primavera Sound, Dour, Melkweg and more are on the scene. They’re there to meet artists in one-on-one sessions and answer all their burning questions.
New this year: breakout sessions
Three panels at the same time, of which artists can choose their favorite.
The first panel is about an inclusive rider. Generally, riders are focused on technical and logistic needs. An inclusive rid prioritizes inclusivity, mental health and physical safety.
The second panel explaines everything you need to know to create a smart digital strategy. Join Lynn Tissink (A&R Manager at Believe) for an advanced interactive panel designed to help you optimize your strategy.
As a third option, Nuno Saraiva will host a panel about music rights. A 101 on what they are, how to manage them and why they’re essential to your career.
A 101 on international touring
Lastly, and very importantly, Bert De Swert (of Flow Management) will host a panel about going international. When to include partners (such as promotors, managers and agents), how to get started with touring abroad and how to create a tour strategy.
