Introducing: Might Delete Later

Dec 05 / 2025

Time to get to know our nominees a little better. Might Delete Later shares songs that inspire her to create art and we chat with her about things (almost!) nobody knows about her... ;-) Can you keep a secret?

But before we head over to the interview, why don't you crank up some tunes to get into the vibe that is Might Delete Later? She's created a playlist of 15 songs that inspire her.

What was the first song you wrote about?

I thought "I'm gonna be the next Radiohead" :D So, I wrote a very obscure track in 3/7 or something about being a misunderstood teenager.

Name your biggest musical inspiration at the moment!

DJ Dave.

Craziest thing that happened on tour:

So I found out that I'll play at Tomorrowland in front of 15,000 people, on the second-biggest stage. I said "Leave a voicemail and you might hear it at the show." Guess what? A person who left a voicemail was actually there at the show and heard his voice. I'll never forget that. I even made a video about it.

Which song of your own means the most to you and why?

SHY, the song I released with Arielle Free in March. This song started from a voicemail about being self insecure, and every time I play it, I get emotional. I've been so self insecure for all my life and putting someone's thoughts into a song like that just felt like I've made it.

What did you want to be when you were little?

Britney Spears.

Artists people like if they'll also like your music:

Fred Again.., Rufus Du Sol or okgiorgio.

What is something (almost) nobody knows about you?

I'm a woman. Yup. Somehow, most people who spot a flyer in the city think that Might Delete Later is a man.

What do you listen to if nobody is around?

Lots of Coldplay.

Dream collab for your art or music:

Sam Smith, Disclosure and Rufus Du Sol.

Leave a message here for your fans:

Leave a voicemail and you might hear it during my show at ESNS! Call +31848340215 to leave yours!

Lastly, give us a random inspirational quote!

The worst you can get is a "no", so just go ahead and ask for it.
